First round route

What to do before chasing OP spots

Chameleon is not a stat-heavy game. The useful guide path starts with paint, blend, stillness, and seeker routes.

Step 1

Learn the paint loop first

Start by finding a color pool, coating your dummy, and matching a large nearby surface. Do not chase trick spots until you can blend cleanly.

Step 2

Pick a hiding spot by color and shape

A good spot matches your paint color, breaks your outline, and gives you enough time to reach it before the Seeker sweeps the area.

Step 3

Stay still when the Seeker is close

Movement is often easier to notice than a small color mismatch. Once you are blended, hold position unless the Seeker has clearly passed.

Step 4

Switch to seeker logic after each loss

When you get caught, remember the route the Seeker used. Good hider routes are built from knowing how seekers sweep corners, walls, and obvious props.

Hider and seeker basics

The decisions that matter most

These are the repeat decisions players search for after the first few rounds.

As a Hider

Paint early, choose a surface before panic starts, and avoid spots where your outline sticks out from the wall or object.

As a Seeker

Sweep common paint-pool routes first, then check color mismatches and flat shapes that look too clean for the map.

After Updates

Treat new maps, changed color pools, and popular creator spots as public signals until the current Roblox page or gameplay footage supports the detail.
