The #1 beginner mistake is grabbing a random color and then looking for a spot. Decide where to hide first, then get the matching color. Wrong color = instantly visible.

📐 Press flat, don't stand

A standing dummy has a human outline even with the right color. Press flat against the surface to eliminate your silhouette. This one habit doubles your survival rate.

🤫 Freeze during the search

Movement is the #1 way Seekers spot you. Once blended, do not move a pixel. It feels unnatural to stay still that long, but it's how you survive.

🧱 Use corners and objects

Flat walls in open view are risky even with perfect color. Corners, recesses, and spots behind objects add occlusion — a second layer of cover on top of color match.

👀 As Seeker, go slow

Rushing as Seeker means you miss subtle mismatches. Walk slowly, scan each surface, and look for the three signals: wrong color, silhouette, movement.
